PetSignal Just Launched on Product Hunt

PetSignal is live on Product Hunt. Here's the story behind the product, what it does, and why we built it for dog owners who want to stay ahead.

PetSignal Just Launched on Product Hunt

Most products launch quietly. They go live, a few people find them, and the founders cross their fingers hoping the right person stumbles across it.

We decided to do it differently.

Today, PetSignal is live on Product Hunt — one of the most visible platforms in the world for discovering new technology products. If you've ever found a tool you love through Product Hunt, you know what it means to be featured there. It's where early adopters, tech-forward users, and people who genuinely care about finding better solutions go to look.

We're there because we believe PetSignal is a better solution. And we wanted to put that in front of people who would actually evaluate it that way.

What PetSignal Actually Does

The core problem PetSignal solves is simple: dogs can't tell you when something is wrong, and the window between "something seems off" and "I need to get to the vet now" is where most owners feel completely in the dark.

PetSignal gives you visibility into that window.

You take a photo of your dog. Our AI analyzes visible health signals — coat condition, eye clarity, body condition, posture — and returns a health score with a plain-language breakdown of what it found. Do it consistently, and you build a health timeline that shows you how your dog is trending over time, not just how they look in a single moment.

It doesn't replace your vet. It replaces the guesswork between appointments.

Why We Built It

I kept asking myself a question I couldn't answer: is my dog actually okay right now, or am I just hoping they are?

Vet visits happen once or twice a year. Your dog lives 365 days a year. That gap is enormous, and most of what fills it is instinct and assumption. Sometimes that's fine. Sometimes it means a problem develops quietly for weeks before anyone catches it.

I built PetSignal to close that gap. Not with panic, not with constant alerts, but with a simple habit: take a photo, get a score, track it over time. Know your dog's baseline so that when something shifts, you actually notice it.

What Launching on Product Hunt Means

Being on Product Hunt puts PetSignal in front of a community that takes new products seriously. These are people who will actually use it, push it, and give us real feedback on what's working and what needs to be better.

That matters to us more than the visibility. We're still early. There is a lot left to build. And the best way to build it right is to get it in the hands of people who will tell us the truth about it.

If you're reading this and you want to support the launch, you can find our Product Hunt listing and leave an upvote or a comment. Every bit of early momentum helps.
